At 1 p.m. ET today, American Idol will officially announce something we already know: Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler will join Randy Jackson as judges for the show’s 10th season. Ryan Seacrest will make the announcement and that will be followed by a press conference, although it’s not clear if that’s going to be a real press conference or a bullshit one like ABC’s DWTS cast announcement.
