The Dragons music video is perhaps the best thing to come out of a pretty great Survivor Heroes vs. Villains’ web series, and while its technical look and feel was the work of Ponderosa series producer Norwood Cheek, it actually has its roots in Brazil, during Ben “Coach” Wade’s experience during Survivor Tocantins’ Ponderosa, and connects to his journey between seasons, as I learned when I just talked to him.

The biggest surprise of last night’s Survivor was Russell’s vote against Courtney, and his alliance’s vote for Coach. Theories in the comments and elsewhere suggest that Russell voted this way so that jury member Coach wouldn’t be pissed at him.

In the space of one episode on Survivor Heroes vs. Villains, the Heroes have gone from an amazing blindside to yet another amazingly dumb decision. Between their stupidity at Tribal Council and their streak of losses, they’re starting to look like so many tribes to come before them, except as previous players, you’d think they’d suck less.
