A screening of the Oscar-winning documentary The Cove at a US military base in Japan was cancelled, but the director says he’ll distribute DVDs of the film instead. The because officials there wanted to be “sensitive to local political and cultural concerns,” a spokesperson for the U.S. Air Force Yokota Air Base told the AP.
