While it’s standard stuff–being sequestered with no phone and no TV (only DVDs), having bags searched, not being able to wear clothing with logos–it’s a good walk-through of the experience, if you can stand reading admitted “attention junkie” Jun’s responses (“I followed all the ruuuuules!”)….

The American Federation of Musicians is suing American Idol for $500,000 on behalf of its band. In a story that barely makes sense because its writing is so bad, TMZ reports that the producers and musicians have a “deal that prohibits ‘Idol’ from cutting the band out of downloads and ringtones of the music played on the show,” but the show has been doing that anyway since season four.
