TV News: Alyssa Milano starrer gets preem date after year — Nearly a year after ABC greenlit the series, Alyssa Milano starrer “Romantically Challenged” finally has an official premiere date confirmed by the network: April 12 at 9:30 p.m., following “Dancing With the Stars.”

ABC finally sets ‘Challenged’
Having been severely disappointed and, worse, bored by Project Runway 7, I decided to give this a few episodes before judging it. I wanted the show to return to greatness, but at the same time, recognized that the show hasn’t really been great, must-watch TV for a while now; even season five, Bravo’s and the Magical Elves’ final season, was weak.

Project Runway 7 is watchable, but the series is no longer must-watch TV
Of NBC’s three current reality shows, its stand-by workhorse is The Biggest Loser, which debut its ninth season last night. While it once had special super-sized two-hour episodes, it now just fills all of NBC’s non-Leno prime-time every Tuesday night (even though there’s not enough content to fill two hours, so the episodes drag, spending an excruciating amount of everything but particularly on weigh-ins)

Despite relentless promotion featuring Russell H.’s villainy, Survivor Samoa had the franchise’s lowest-rated debut ever on Thursday night, although it continued its streak of winning its timeslot. With 11.5 million viewers, the episode lost a significant number of viewers from recent debuts: just over two million fewer viewers from Tocantins (13.63 million) and 1.5 million from Gabon a year ago (13 million).
