The next full-series Survivor DVD will be for its 20th season, Survivor Heroes vs. Villains. While any release is welcome, it’s both disappointing yet predictable and understandable that the next DVD is season 20

The Dragons music video is perhaps the best thing to come out of a pretty great Survivor Heroes vs. Villains’ web series, and while its technical look and feel was the work of Ponderosa series producer Norwood Cheek, it actually has its roots in Brazil, during Ben “Coach” Wade’s experience during Survivor Tocantins’ Ponderosa, and connects to his journey between seasons, as I learned when I just talked to him.

Here’s everyone throwing each other “under the bus”: Far more amazing, however, is this video which came out of Survivor Heroes vs. Villains.

Sandra Diaz-Twine did exactly what she promised and won Survivor Heroes vs. Villains, becoming the show’s first-ever two-time winner by using a strategy very similar to the one that worked for her in the Pearl Islands
For some time now, Survivor has minimized the survival part of the game in exchange for strategy, and that’s mostly been okay. The relatively recent decline of the number of challenges, however, has led to an even higher percentage of strategizing, and an episode like last night’s–when we had two back-to-back episodes in one, basically–highlights that there’s a tipping point.
