The finale of The Amazing Race 16 wasn’t close at all, as bros Dan and Jordan beat cowboys Jet and Cord by almost a half hour, and maintained a lead throughout the leg. More surprisingly, they revealed that homophobia on the race did not come from Caite, b… (source: Realityblurred.com) – Share on Twitter – Share on Facebook – RSS and RSS Feed on Feedzilla.com

+ Amazing Race 16′s finale was its lowest-rated ever By admin 10 May 2010 at 5:08 pm and have No Comments

The Amazing Race 16 had the series’ lowest-rated finale ever, after last fall’s race had significantly higher finale ratings than usual. An average of 10.63 million people watched, up slightly from a year ago, when 10.43 million watched Victor and Tammy win.

+ Dan and Jordan strategize their way to an Amazing Race win, edging out the cowboys By admin 10 May 2010 at 10:12 am and have No Comments

After a relatively weak season, The Amazing Race 16 delivered an enormously satisfying final episode: strong challenges, great drama, and best of all, an ugly meltdown from Caite Upton and Brent Horne, who were left in the dust where they belong. I’ll even forgive a lame final memory challenge–the elimination order, that’s it?–and the loss of a really strong team, cowboys Jet and Cord McCoy, for a slightly less impressive team, bros Dan and Jordan… keep reading » » read the full story and comment , or find the latest news about The Amazing Race 16 » follow reality blurred on Twitter and on Facebook

In March, The Amazing Race 16 contestant Louie Stravato was linked to a cop cocaine ring and put on desk duty, and he remains there today as the investigation is ongoing. In a post-elimination interview, he told People that he couldn’t comment, but also said he’s basically not guilty: “Unfortunately, I’m still on desk duty and I can’t comment, although I’d love to, because it’s an ongoing investigation

+ Dan and Jordan, Brent and Caite freak out, but still make final three with the cowboys By admin 03 May 2010 at 9:09 am and have No Comments

After 11 The Amazing Race 16 episodes, I’m really sick of the cowboys pointing out how everything in the freakin’ world is so new to them because they’re cowboys from a town so small there’s absolutely nothing there except oxygen and water. However, I realize that’s the editors treating us like infants, and as a team, Jet and Cord are pretty great, and thus I’ll be okay when they win next week, which I’m hoping..

+ Carol says Caite "very clearly had a problem with us as lesbians, not with us as individuals" By admin 13 April 2010 at 10:23 am and have No Comments

The debate about Brent and Caite’s use of the phrase “the lesbians” to refer to a fellow Amazing Race team now has some insight from Carol Rosenfeld and Brandy Snow, who don’t call Brent Horne and Caite Upton homophobic, but do think that the couple’s sexual orientation played a role in Caite’s contempt for them.
